Who the heck are you?
I’m just another random guy on the net who has nothing better to do but to blog.
No no, I mean, can you introduce yourself?
Well, I am known as jimmyln on the net, but my actual name is Lin Jin. I surf the net, watch anime, practice magic, play my trombone, daydream and enjoy other random hobbies during my free time.
I have stopped watching anime, as school life is becoming more hectic nowadays.
“Lin Jin”? A two word name? Are you from China?
Neh, but close. All my family members are from China, but I’m not. Get what I mean?
“jimmyln” is such a wierd nick! How did you get that?
Well, cause my name is “Jin”, I wanted a Christian name that starts with J. With that, I somehow managed to get the name Jimmy. Don’t ask why, I have no idea myself.
So when you combine Jimmy and Lin, you get jimmylin! However, when I was signing up for my Gmail account, I accidentally typed “jimmyln” instead of “jimmylin”.
Yes, it is a stupid story. And yes, it is true.
To be honest, I find myself disliking the nick “jimmyln” recently, and I don’t have a reason for feeling this way. Too bad linjin.com is taken, or else I would gladly change my site address.
Which school are you from?
Fuchun Primary School for my Primary 1 year, transferred to Woodlands Primary School when I was Primary 2, all the way till Primary 6. Currently in Raffles Institution, Year 5.
Raffles? Woah! So you must be smart, right?
I consider myself lucky to get into Raffles Institution. Seriously.
I have seen many Raffles people playing rubik’s cube on buses and MRTs. Are you one of them?
Let’s just say that I know how to solve a cube, in around 50 seconds to 1 minute.
Are you overweight?
Yes, I am 8% over or something.
I already know what you like, but what do you dislike?
Oh yes. Shopping. I don’t really enjoy shopping.
Why is your blog so dead?
Well, it is hard to come up with fresh content for a blog. To make sure that the content is interesting, I would avoid regurgitating my daily events from the start to the end, rather, I would blog about special events that I encounter, or certain ideas and thoughts that pop up in my head. I guess this makes it difficult to have fresh content regularly.
Oh, did I mention that I’m lazy?
